Partha, I don't want to sound harsh but facts of life are there to see unless you use your eyelids to block them.
When the economy was shifting the gears forward, the weavers in Chirala,AP had to....(Sorry I don't want to mention here) Simillar was the fate of farmers in Vidharba, Maharastra. Nobody worried about them; only the press filled the pages with news and TV channels got their TRPs
Now when the economy is shifting gears backward the white collars and professionals are affected.
It happens.
If a truck driver recklessly drives and kills people, the law will punish him. But if policy makers and politicians make reckless decisions and ruin the economy,.... well, I want to haul them before courts but, as you said it is not my cup of tea.
The only consolation I can offer to you is please read WHO MOVED MY CHEESE. Just because you study law you need not make a living by joining a law firm. Nothing prevents you from becoming a chief minister. In this country even illterate housewife can achieve that.Private Reply to 7 Th Thinking Hat (new win) |
