Dice Game? Patent?

The Mahabharata (all about dice and more)
is not patented and not copyright protected
. . . . even if it were - how would it work?

Does your friend wish to patent the game? How?

Patent the rules of play?

Or the code if it is written for play on the computer?
If the code then - does the code use any random number
generator routine or algorithm? and is that patented?
If yes then your friend is in trouble already. If no
then any dice game built on a public domain mathematical
random number generation system can be circumvented easily
by simple manipulation of the code by most college kids.

I am sure your friend must have put in much thought already.

Will he care to share so that the illuminati present can
serve him better guidance?

What exactly does he wish to protect? Is the market worth
of the same sufficient to warrant the costs of protection?
Is he aware of the operating costs incurred in enforcing
protection rights?

'Non Competition & Non Circumvention & Non Utilization
Agreement' cannot protect or compensate against PIRACY
over which the signatories have no control especially
when the piracy takes place in countries that do not
cooperate in tracking down pirates.
